National Cottage Industries, based in New Delhi (India), is a company established in 1950, by late Sh. T. R. Aggarwal, an entrepreneur with vision & foresight. It was started  as a wholesale venture dealing in Neck-Ties & Accessories, on a small scale. Capable  & diligent, he spent the initial years in making dents into the Indian wholesale market  for Neck-Ties.   Realizing that there was a very  good potential to sell Ties to various corporate houses  under their  in-house label,  besides the  whole sale market. He INTRODUCED his sons, Mr. Rakesh Aggarwal &  Mr. Rajesh Aggarwal into the business in the early 80's, and ever since "National Cottage Industries" has been manufacturing & Importing Neck-Ties. Being one of the oldest and largest Tie manufacturer in India, gave us an edge over the other Tie manufacturers and business flourished by leaps and bounds.

To meet various customer demands, we developed, for them other related Accessories viz. Cufflinks, Scarves, Cravats, Bows, Belts and Hankies.

The urge  and dynamic personality of Mr. Rakesh Agarwal, realized that an in-house label must be introduced in the best interest of the Company, for the long run. With this  in mind, our in-house label "ALVARO CASTAGNINO"  was introduced in the year 2002, and today we are catering to all top end stores, across the country with pride, to their entire satisfaction and today ALVARO CASTAGNINO has become A FASHION CONNOISSEUR'S DESIRE.
